    Gabrielle Montes
    Gabrielle Montes, Historian, Financial Secretary, and Community Service Chair, is a senior pre-med student from St. Petersburg, FL. She is majoring in sociology with a double minor in global health and chemistry. Her campus involvement includes being the alumni contact for The Girls Club. Upon graduation she wishes to attend a prestigious medical school and eventually become an anesthesiologist.

    Amari El-Amin
    Amari El-Amin, Vice President, is a senior from Atlanta, GA. She is a Cultural Anthropology major. On campus she is involved with the International House Global Engagement program and serves as a member of the duArts marketing team, a mentor for FEMMES, a tutor for America Reads/America Counts, and a co-programming chair for the Duke Cultural Initiative. In her free time she enjoys visiting art museums, traveling, cooking and spending time with family. Upon graduation, Amari plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in international marketing.

    Houston Rhodes, President and Webmistress, is a pre-med senior from Charleston, South Carolina. She is double-majoring in Evolutionary Anthropology and Global Health. Houston is one of the Captains of Duke Varisty Cheerleading and is a mentor for FEMMES. She conducts Alzheimer's research with Dr. Kathleen Welsh-Bohmer at the Bryan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. Upon graduation, she plans to take a gap year traveling the world and conducting more research. After her gap year she will attend medical school.

    Genesis Bonds is a senior from Queens, New York. She is a Computer Science major. After Duke, she plans to either work on Wall Street or in Silicon Valley, then eventually attend business school. At Duke, she is heavily involved with the programming of many black affinity groups including the Black Student Alliance, the Students of the Caribbean Association, and the National Society for Black Engineers. She is a volunteer tutor at a nearby afterschool program and works two on campus jobs. In her leisure, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

    Mercedes Carrasco is a senior from the Bronx, New York. She is double majoring in Political Science with a concentration in War, Peace, and Security and International Comparative Studies with a focus on the African continent. On campus, she is involved with the Duke Dance Program, as a modern dancer, and is also a First-Year Advisory Counselor for incoming freshman. She is also a member of Bench and Bar, one of Duke's Pre-law Associations and Duke's International Relations Association. During her free time, she loves to participate in service, and travel.

    Ashley Queener, Secretary and Membership Chair, is a senior from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is a Chemistry major with a prospective concentration in Biochemistry. She is a Howard Hughes Research Fellow, BioCoRE Research scholar, and works in the Kuehn Biochemistry lab for Duke Health Systems. Upon graduation, she plans to continue on to doctoral studies in chemistry.

    Bre Jordan, is a senior at Duke University in North Carolina. She is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Bre is a Public Policy Studies major with a minor in Linguistics and a Markets and Management Certificate. She plans to obtain her MBA and JD after graduation. She is the co-president of Spoken Verb, a spoken word group and the co-programming director for Future Is Now mentoring program. In her spare time she works for the Athletics Department as an intern and she is an America Reads, America Counts tutor.

    Bethany Sykes, Social Chair, is a senior from Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is a Psychology and Global Health double major and a candidate for the Makets and Management Studies certificate. On campus, she is a Resident Assistant, an associate of Duke Community Consulting, and works as a research assistant in the Duke University Behavioral Medicine Research Center. She also tutors in the Durham Public Schools at Watts Elementary School and mentors in Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Upon graduation, she plans to attend a doctoral program in clinical psychology.

    Ba'Carri Johnson, Treasurer, is a senior from Miami, FL and is a double major in Statistical Science and Computer Science. On campus, Ba'Carri serves as Vice President for Future Is Now Mentoring Program. She interned under Duke's Vice President of Durham and Regional Affairs, conducting research with the Statistical Science department on the self-efficacy of women in STEM majors, and heavily involved in the Durham community with multiple nonprofits organizations. Ba'Carri is also an Alice M. Baldwin Scholar and a Gates Millennium Scholar.
